Dr. Garg is board-certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Medicine and Cardiac CT Angiography. He has over 10 years of experience in Cardiovascular Medicine and has a special interest in Valvular Heart Disease. Dr. Garg specializes in complex Coronary, Peripheral Interventions, and Structural Interventions such as TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman and PFO closures.
In addition to his General Cardiology training at University of Missouri-Columbia, Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging training at Houston Methodist Hospital and Interventional Cardiology at University of Arkansas Medical Science Center, Dr. Garg has also received advanced fellowship training in Structural Cardiology at Essentia Health in Duluth, MN. Dr. Garg has also served as an Associate professor at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in the Division of Cardiology for seven years.
